Our first outlet is open in Goa. Mumbai launches in 2026, with Pune the same year, then Bengaluru and Delhi in 2027. If you'd want to run a Carmina's Curry in one of these cities or another in Goa, read what we expect below and write to us. We pick partners carefully, not quickly.

WHY PARTNER WITH US

We're not a chain. We're a small outlet looking for four more.

We don't want fifty branches. We want five great ones. Each run by someone who actually cooks, actually shows up, and actually answers the phone when a regular calls. We'll grow at the speed of finding those people.

Real recipes, not a manual

You don't get a 200 page operating manual. You get a two week training in our Verna outlet with Marisa, the recipe binder, and the supplier list. The food in your outlet will taste exactly like ours because we cooked together for two weeks.

Fair fee, no inflated royalty

5% royalty on monthly turnover. No franchise fee inflation. No mandatory marketing fund top up. The numbers are simple and they sit on your outlet wall, not in a contract you can't read.

Small format, modest investment

12 to 20 seats. ₹18 to 30 lakhs to set up an outlet, depending on rent and city. We're not building 80 seat restaurants with valet parking. We're building neighbourhood food shops.

Marisa visits four times a year

She comes for two days each visit, eats three meals you cooked, says what's working and what isn't. No branded auditors with clipboards. Just the head cook making sure the curry tastes right.

HOW WE PICK PARTNERS

Five steps. About six months. No shortcuts.

    Send the form

    Fill in the form below. Tell us where you want to open, what you do today, and why this. Don't write a pitch. Just answer the questions.

  2. 02

    We call within two weeks

    Marisa or Jude will phone you for 30 minutes. We talk about your background, your city, and how serious this is. About one in five calls leads to step three.

  3. 03

    Come eat with us

    If we both want to keep going, you visit us in Verna for two days. You eat the food, see the outlet, meet the team. We answer every question you have about money, hours, and the bad days.

  4. 04

    Two weeks of training

    If we sign, you and one cook from your team train with us for two weeks. You'll prep, cook, plate, and clean alongside Marisa. You leave with the recipe binder and a supplier list.

  5. 05

    We open together

    Marisa flies to your city for the first ten days. She cooks beside you for the soft launch. We don't leave until your Cafreal and Xacuti taste the same as ours.

NON-NEGOTIABLE

What we expect from a franchise partner.

These aren't preferences. They're the four things we won't compromise on. If any of them is a problem for you, we're probably not the right partner.

  • You're cooking, not just managing.

    We don't accept franchisees who plan to hire a manager and visit twice a month. The owner has to be at the outlet six days a week, at least for the first eighteen months.

  • You source locally, the way we do.

    Every franchise has to set up real supplier relationships in their city. Fish from a market, coconut from a farm, vegetables from a wholesaler. We help with this in the first month.

  • You price for working people.

    Our menu pricing is not negotiable upward by more than 15% in the first three years. If you can't make the numbers work at our prices in your city, that city isn't right for us.

  • You answer the phone.

    If a regular calls and asks if today's Jackfruit Vindaloo can be made mild, you say yes or no within five minutes. Not 'let me check with management.' That isn't how Carmina's runs.
